In our adventure, my elf illusionist just broke into a crypt and witnessed the rebirth of the Bloody Hand, a group of wraiths set to terrorize the Three Kingdoms:
Quickly, it set about to free its brothers. Anger (the strongest) proved to be able crack the other wards with surprising ease. The first to be freed was Fear, second only to Anger in power and strength. It screamed and howled when released. The spirits intertwined like two great serpents in the center of the floor and shared each other’s strength. Next was Pain. Then Disease. And finally, Sorrow. All five spirits swirled and mixed with each other like multicolored vapors. Collectively, they called themselves Legion, but they were known by other names. The elves named them Wyrvsolbul, and would only whisper the name when the sun burned bright in the sky. The dwarves of the Cairn Hills called them Reikthros and would spit each time after saying the cursed name to clean their mouths. The world of men simply known them as the Bloody Hand, but all knew them as Death.
